Shopping Safaris Tuscany was set up by shopping enthusiasts Bernie and Cristina who have been friends for many years. The idea to share their passion for shopping with others came from the continual enquiries they received while working with tourists about where they had bought their dress, bag, or necklace, and this eventually grew into a business idea.

Palazzos and picture galleries are easily found in guidebooks, but Shopping Safaris Tuscany can bring you to hidden away addresses and give you valuable insider shopping tips otherwise impossible to unearth. In addition, we provide bilingual assistance.  We cater for every shopping budget, and focus on finding the best shops and fashion trends to suit you. Our goal is to help you to use your retail therapy time in Tuscany wisely, so we will custom design a tour just for you. The uniqueness of our service is the upmost care and personal attention we dedicate to you . Both of us accompany all groups in order to guarantee first-rate assistance.

After the many years we have both spent working in the wine-tourism business, we also have the connections and expertise to create a wide variety of wine and gastronomic tours throughout the Chianti region. 
 

Bernie Nolan
Bernie is Irish and has been living in Chianti for the past 16 years. She has a degree in Communication Studies and speaks fluent Italian. Since moving to Chianti she has worked in various sectors of eno-tourism. Bernie is a serious serial shopper. She specialises in bags and shoes.

Cristina Biagini
Cristina is from Florence and speaks fluent English and German. She is an English Literature graduate and has also worked for many years in the eno-tourism business. Like many Italians, Cristina is a passionate follower of fashion. Her specialities are jewellery and designer shops.

We shop together at least once a week and we know every back street of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Montalcino, San Gimignano and the Valdarno towns. We know where all the discount designer outlets are hidden away as well as where all the best specialised markets are to be found. We can bring you to places that are off the tourist track which only Italians know about. We cater to both the independent traveller and small groups. Choose from an array of activities or let us customise a day of shopping, wine tasting or culinary activities to meet your requirements.
